So after much searching and a truly bizarre encounter at the *Apple store, I Googled the same thing over and over, (Mac battle armour) but that never really gave me great results.
So after much fantasising over a Mac case equivalent of a unicorn, I went back to the apple store. To my surprise they had this fairly superb case by Thule. A zip affair with a enough grooves to create some sort of ventilation or at least the illusion of ventilation.

After teaching a few lessons and carting it around in my bag it held up pretty well! Apart from the annoying fact that they didn't put any elastic inside to keep it in place... So one false move and your glorious metal friend slips out!
So Thule this is what you should of designed:
If you change it please give me some sort of credit? Maybe a free case? Maybe a goody bag? A trip to Sweden would be nice...
* Just before Christmas I was at the Westifeld Apple store and decided to enquire to which case would best suit my needs. As it was the pre Christmas rush no one was free to hear me harp on about how I wanted "Mac battle armour". So I decided to ask the guy at the quick purchase stand, who I can only describe as a british Eminem. He was a friendly chap, who quickly left his mountain of iPod nanos and asked me if I had heard of the site 'Amazon'. Apparently if I found something I like I should probably buy it there, as it would be a lot cheaper. Anyway, after browsing the apple approved cases we decided that they weren't what I was looking for. So Eminen quickly started Googling for his site 'Amazon' and found something cheaper and more to my liking. With a rowdy handshake and a quick 'safe blud' our encounter was at an end.
